Summer Style Review
When it comes to heat, August has started off with a bang! It’s hard to imagine that cooler weather is just a couple of months away where we can then wear these early fall arrivals (aka “prefall,” if you’re in the biz) that have entered our doors. But why do sweaters and jackets take us by surprise this time of year...every year? On the flip side, though we are still wearing our summer clothes, the idea of buying something “summery” doesn’t sound appealing... unless it’s on super sale,
of course. Even though we can’t wear the lightweight sweaters and jackets just yet, we love the newness and variety being offered that is unique to this fall 2020 season. Stay tuned for a trend report that will be headed your way soon!

We spent some time in a client’s closet last week. She needed help editing (getting rid of worn and dated items) and wanted ideas as to how she could make the most of her most recent wardrobe additions. Below, is a good example of head-to-toe looks
that we built using the foundation of a new skirt.
Because we frequent her closet, she had her closet orderly by implementing the organizational method we like to use best: category, then color within the category. You can see in the picture below that she has her sleeveless tops grouped together, then organized by color within the sleeveless category. It makes getting dressed super efficient!

As far as we are concerned, camo is a neutral! Using an ATM skirt, we styled looks that display its versatility. Whether you’re running around during the day, or out to a nice dinner, camo can take you places.

This new DeMellier clutch inspired us to create a few transitional looks. We paired each outfit with cream Mother jeans, as well. These outfits speak to our personal style because on any given day, you can find us in black, white, or neutral tones.
